One may have a tendency to fill the gaps and complete perceived things to a familiar form and that is also applicable to behaviour. The like of this guy may benefit from that inclination unless there is conscious effort to counter it. I have not seen somebody supposedly trying this hard to correct something while he is that much still on its cause outside. If one looks carefully, it could be seen that the guy does not even pretend to change his behaviour to deal with something he did. No, he is higher than having his will restricted. He just deal with the effect of a bad thing he does and change the world to make it fit his behaviour. For example, to deal with spreading degrading things about a person he may make others degrade themselves without even bothering himself to stop.

Continuing from post +7
Couple of days ago it occurred me the view of how much of this guy's trials where he already had more than sufficient signs to the contrary is just like a direct psychotic fighting of reality through denial except that it is done in a more artistic way that may even gets praised for an apparent conforming to reality instead.

One day I may, I don't know, hire an architect, a physicist or buy two adjacent houses like where I live and keep testing, if I can, just to see how can the cockroaches communicating things to this rat hear what I could be standing in a crammed waiting line of people, or the cockroaches themselves, and nobody would hear, let alone count anything as unusual.

It is also far from normal expectations how much this guy tries things that do not fit, working from a high position and treating things like playing with toys as if trying to debase the target by this undervaluating behaviour and not because he really believes in the probability of success. He may deal with matters superficially positioning them and related things lower than him by ignoring their potential depth. The good news is that what I remember suspecting from others playing this game with reality in a much more subtle way, this guy made it easy to see through their covering because of the intensity he shows.

Continuing from THIS

That is his work inside. Outside I have to search for a new dentist and most probably also expose my self to new x-rays after one visit to the last. That is because this corruption guy apparently, which I expected, contacted the office of the last one and the dental hygienist was interested in personal relationship for his sake more than doing her job. As a result when that failed she also performed what I hardly believe deserves to be counted as a cleaning session until the next one. It seems that she lost interest in doing her job that she couldn't even continue to do some more x-rays and asked for another person to complete that.
I think that people may act like this for him under the character and fitting the situation deception of a deceptive psychotic like this. It may never occur to them that the one asking like being in need for their help here is also acting like God toward the same issue there. Guys like this could make the other person forget even himself in the way they position themselves and this is far from being an exaggeration. I have recently noticed how much I could become, without noticing, moved away from myself  for an issue that is close to me and as part of me as it gets facing the situation fitting the like of this guy can present themselves with. I was shocked by how much close to certainty knowledge and memories that were extremely close could all be eclipsed without noticing when I am faced with the fitting the situation of deceptive psychotics like this and how much I need to put an intentional effort in order to recover that.

The leaders here treated the fragility of a change brought by one person in the Soviet Union as if it were fixed deep coming from a revolution that wiped away every bad element. Clearly the biggest responsibility for failing to hold on to Gorbachev and the real change he brought goes to the root, to Bush senior and Reagan and the rest of the government during that time.
However, there is still showing for that clip of "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall!" as if putting pressure on the man instead of helping him during that time suggests some depth of vision for the future.

The Soviet union, in its current form as Russia, did not really change as much as it took a breath of fresh air during the time of that man then things reverted back when he no longer in office.

History will remember Gorbachev as the originator and the only true implementer of democracy there, but what can it remember Putin for? Being a strong leader on the outside while abusing his own people inside? There is a long list of that and now many people may like very much to pee on the graves of their dead. On the other hand Gorbachev's list still has only one member there, Gorbachev himself.

If you think that those running the government make bad decisions only locally, you could be missing the much worse part related to the international stage. There were opportunities there with huge potential and at the same time not as much costly here, at least not in terms of human lives. They required only a very little effort to be seen. For example, democracy in Egypt came to this president like a piece of cake and he kicked it away. Before this president, how many times in history have you seen somebody reaches the top position of a dictatorship and does what Gorbachev did in a place like the Soviet Union? But the small minds leading this country instead of supporting this man for the real democracy he brought, they let him get weakened and the like of Boris Yeltsin, whom I don't know what could he have done without the freedom brought by this man, jump on his neck and breathing. The later, I never felt there will be a real democratic system under him. If shelling the parliament was not enough sign, he later followed that with the KGB guy being his second man. How could somebody who is a true believer in democracy make such a choice? However, I still waited to see if time will support my view or what was suggested by the treatment of the west to Yeltsin even after that KGB guy became president until he continued to be president, directly or indirectly, and it became very clear that democracy in Russia is a joke.
They missed an opportunity were not even in their dreams with the originator of democracy there then continued decades where one can hardly see an effort recognizing what happened and trying to deal appropriately with its result. Now they complain about the behaviour of Putin as if they were helpless against the like of him coming to power?

I don't know if this President realize that but what happened there feels like walking with a person until he gets attacked and you let him to his attackers despite having the power to do much better.  It even was not like the military guy took power and sought a fresh start. No, he took power and threw people in prisons continuing to hold them there and conducting his mock court trials.

The President may need to also remember those in Egypt who were in communication with and trying to walk a line acceptable to and did not refuse a call from us to change something but still where let to be thrown in prisons by the military guy just for trying democracy.
